Heather’s been writing for love or cash for many years, initially working for community newspapers. She is currently living in Los Angeles and is the Music Editor / Staff Writer for Ladygunn Magazine and has also appeared in Spin Magazine, Filter, Anthem, Paper Hearts, Dazed & Confused, LA Weekly and (rather incongruously) LA Times (when they surprisingly published her fictional letter to Tyler Durden).
In the (rare) spare time she has, she’s finally completing work on her coffee table book Inquietudes, due out 2012 through Banter Books. Other dabblings include illustrations, musical saw, essays, cyborgs, photo taking and dioramas.
She peaked at the early age of 22, when she accidentally did a Werner Herzog impression in front of Werner Herzog. She treasures no earthly possession more than the look he gave her in response.
